Offering all the most useful features from the Pulso F series, the Pulso G additionally offers auto-selectable voltage compatibility between 110-220V, a stronger clamping system to safely secure even the heaviest light reflectors, a universal stand adapter, and a newly designed locking device for its specially designed protection domes. The Pulso G also features a focusable flashtube from 60-90? (P70) over a 26mm range, umbrella holder, and is fan cooled to allow extended flash sequences. And as expected from Broncolor, the Pulso G is compatible with every power pack they have built since 1972.
Also usable with battery-powered Mobil power pack (without modelling light when using on battery).

Notes
For thermal reasons the UV filter coating of the flash tube 3200 J has been applied directly onto the protecting glass. The flash tube 1600 J however has the UV filter coating directly on the flash tube, for price reasons. The clear protecting glass does not have any optical effect. If a uniform fitting of all lamp base types is intended, the lamp base Pulso G may also be fitted with a clear flash tube 1600 J and coated protecting glass.
Due to the improved protecting glass holder, new protecting glasses are now also available. These have a marking line and three grooves at the rim. When inserting the protecting glass into the locking device of the Pulso G lamp base, the marking line must be at the top. After engaging the protecting glass, it must be slightly turned, to provent accidental loosening. The previous protecting glasses are not compatible to the Pulso G lamp.
Warning: For safety reasons the lamp must not be operated without protecting glass.
*When using any lampbase other than a mobilite with the Mobil Power Pack, the modeling lamp will cease to operate due to a differentiation in voltage.
