New in Sinar CaptureShop™ 5.3

Compared to the previously released version 5.2 the following features were added:

  • The minimum requirement for the Mac Operating System has been changed to 10.4.3.

  • The new Sinarback eMotion75 is supported.
    * Compressed images (8 bit data) can be downloaded from a Sinarback eMotion75 and Sinarback eMotion22 (as of firmware version 4.0). The download of compressed images is about 20% faster than the download of normal images.

  • The Sinar CaptureShop™ 5 Online Help is now also available as an HTML-file in English. Therefore, if installed, the online-help can be called from any site of the CaptureShop to get context related infor-mation.

  • The Navigator has been implemented. It facilitates orientation when zooming in an image.

  • The operation capability of a Sinarback 54 M on a Mamiya 645 Pro has been implemented.

  • A crop-mask can be applied to the Live image, which will be accounted when the image is being exported.

  • Now, with the Mamiya RZ 67 the light metering functions can be used. For this function the use of Control Cable 551.63.061 is required.

  • When downloading images from a Sinarback eMotion, in CaptureShop the images are displayed in the correct sequence.

  • The cause that made the CaptureShop crash when using a Sinarback 54 M on a Mamiya RZ 67 has been solved.

  • The interpolation and the image quality for the Sinarback eMotion22 and the Sinarback 54 M have been improved.

  • A bug that could cause soft shadow areas and artifacts at slanted edges in images captured with Sinarback eMotion22 at higher ISO ratings or long exposure times has been removed.

  • A new Exposure Warning (Tone Ranger) plug-in is now available in the process panel. It allows highlighting over- and underexposed areas in open images and in thumbnails.

  • A bug that caused CaptureShop to crash after changing to Preview mode when a Sinarback eMotion22 was used has been removed.

  • A bug that could cause CaptureShop to crash, when changing in the hardware setup from Sinarback eMotion22 to any type of medium format camera, has been removed.

  • The cause for the instable communication between Sinar CaptureShop™ and the Sinar m has been removed.

  • Compensated columns in images taken with an earlier CaptureShop version than 5.2.2 remain invisible also when opened with the current version.

  • Images taken with a Sinarback 54 M or a Sinarback 54 H are now displayed with the correct brightness.
